Hard story to experience again, especially through the eyes of my 10 year old daughter, who has now grown into the incredibly beautiful and gifted person that I admire more than any other woman I know! Amber Drea has taught me more about the good in life than all that bad ever could and her love has undone a lifetime of unforgiveness. Because of her, I have become a better mother and a gentler being.
As I listen to Amber’s stories… her ability to draw us in to empathy, to open our hearts by revealing hers, to respond with humour where there used to be tears… I learn once again the power that she holds in her voice and her pen 🙂
