Rory is hired to play the Mayor of Whoville at a cocktail party, along with a man playing the Grinch and a preteen girl playing Cindy Lou Who. Rory is bewildered that the man playing the Grinch is a method actor and will not stop talking like Jim Carrey as the Grinch. But on the ride home from the gig, Rory gets to know this actor in a whole new way.
