Synopsis

(Content note: graphic dog attack on a child) Jill’s four-year-old twin sons are invited into the neighbor kids’ backyard. Minutes later, she hears a bloodcurdling scream and finds her son Jacob bleeding in her arms after an attack by the family’s dog. In the weeks that follow, both boys develop a primal fear of any dog they encounter, and Jill, a child psychologist, begins engineering her family’s slow way back to dogs, one puppy at a time.
