Synopsis

Nate is in love with his best friend Mike, an extremely handsome and fabulous-seeming gay party boy who flirts with Nate, but never with the intention of becoming intimate. Mike ropes Nate into working as a receptionist for an escort agency (all female escorts), and Nate becomes close friends with one of the prostitutes, Desiree. One night, a john physically assaults Desiree, to the point of nearly killing her, and Nate rushes over to this john’s apartment to save her. Both Desiree and Nate end up bloody messes from the fighting. Mike shows up and is pissed off at Nate that he’s made them late to get somewhere else. Nate is stunned to realize that the guy he is in love with is so self-centered, he doesn’t realize how much more important it is to save someone’s life than to get a ride somewhere on time.
