Chelsea Dalsey

Chelsea is a multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her wide ranging life-experience has included stints in rehab, medical school, a revolutionary collective and a strip club (in that order) and centers her lived experience of loss, autoimmune disease, neurodivergence, addiction, bipolar disorder and all of the blessings that came with relentlessly exploring these aspects of herself. Chelsea’s creativity comes from being either a mirror to the world around her or a channel for the divine. Through radically accepting all of her struggles as well as all of her gifts she has carved out a purposeful and powerful path that holistically represents her being. Her studio at Cherry Street Pier is open to the public and is the hub for her paintings, large scale sculptures and installation art, SFX makeup, face and body painting, songwriting, movement, and storytelling.
