Sarah Adelman

Sarah Adelman is quickly becoming one of New York City’s most talked-about writer-performers, whose career skyrocketed from open mics to touring nationally in just a few years. She was an Ars Nova Theater comedy resident for their 2023–2024 season where she developed her one-woman show EGG, hailed as “a charming coming-of-age stand-up show” by New York Times comedy critic Jason Zinoman. Sarah was the writer and star of BUSTED!, a proof-of-concept short film/TV series that has screened at Oscar-qualifying festivals and won both the Best Writer Jury Award and the Audience Award at SeriesFest 2025.
