Synopsis

Curtis had a very selfish, sexist, homophobic father. One day, when his mother told him to take off his dirty clothes for her to throw in the wash, his father walked in drunk, screamed, “Are you fucking your mother?!” and beat both of them and threatened to kill everyone in the family that night. It was the worst of many such explosions. Curtis became a teacher to show children what compassion looks like.
