Synopsis

While on a cross-country road trip to move herself to Reno, NV, Jessica and her brother Teddy end up camping next to a lake in Kansas. Tensions are a little high on this otherwise fun adventure because Teddy hadn’t wanted to stop in Kansas, and Jessica has forgotten to purchase ketchup for their hot dogs. In a bewildering turn, a Native American shaman named Lone Wolf approaches their campsite, bearing eerily prescient insights into Jessica’s situation, and a bottle of ketchup, that he says he was told to buy that day by the Great Spirit, because “someone needed it.” Jessica and Teddy stay with Lone Wolf for three days, absorbing his teachings about the origins of the universe, but staying rational, because they notice he seems to hate Jews.
