Synopsis

It’s 1987, and Mark and his pal Buck take a highway road trip from Dallas to Austin, TX. Their goal this time around is to see what it feels like to drive (and ride) naked. While they’re experiencing this breezy freedom, a highway patrolman pulls them over, figuring that naked shenanigans are probably a sign of other infractions as well. When the patrolman searches Mark’s car, he does indeed find evidence of lawlessness…except none of it is actually what it looks like. A bag of “weed” is, in truth, grass that Mark gathered as a souvenir from the grave of his hero, James Dean…and dozens of baggies of tiny fabric fragments aren’t “drugs,” but a shirt Morrissey threw into the audience at one of his concerts, caught by Mark and chopped up to sell to fellow fans. Mark manages to drive away with a charge of an expired auto inspection sticker.
