Broke and inspired by vagabond poet Charles Bukowski, Jake refuses to admit that moving to New York was a mistake. After he loses his job and his sublet over some eaten food and bourbon, he spends a month and a half homeless in the city, taking each grim, absurd low as one more adventure he’d rather survive than call home and quit.
