Radio producer, writer and artist, Jon Nelson, is writing his own bio. His radio program, Some Assembly Required, is a 25-year exploration of the art of appropriation. Radio Retrofit’s a focus on personality driven radio, and a chance to flex as an editor. More recently, he’s been staring directly into his own navel, for a series called No One Asked, which might just normalize the act of reading your childhood journal on the radio. Jon’s a stay at home Dad and a DJ at wfmu.org. He’s been working really hard on his very first zine… It’s been “not quite ready” for about 20 years.
