Synopsis

Joe and his wife have a baby… but he’s born halfway through the pregnancy. There’s almost no chance of survival. The baby is put in an incubator. And at an absolutely critical moment, Joe accidentally trips over the wires, disconnecting the machine. For a moment, time stands still. It looks as though Joe has accidentally killed the child. But it’s a happy ending. Benjamin is a healthy little boy today.

I’m glad to know that. I was wondering how things turned out in the end. That’s why I visited this page, to see if I could find out. I love the Risk! podcast. So many interesting stories! But on occasion I feel a bit disappointed or frustrated at where one ends, because I’m left wondering what happened next, or how things turned out in the end, or how on earth the storyteller managed to turn their life around to get from the bad place they were in in those days to where they are currently. It’s nice to know the baby in this story beat such poor odds and didn’t even end up disabled, it seems.
