Synopsis

Gretchen grows up in a family that runs a funeral home and ambulance service, leaving her with a lifelong fear of death. At 22, after her father reveals he has a girlfriend and begins drifting away, she decides to confront her fear by helping him embalm a 94-year-old woman named Tiny, stitching the body closed alongside him in an effort to reclaim the closeness she has lost.
