Synopsis

(Content note: death of a parent) Colleen’s father, a classically trained singer who ran an Irish pub in suburban Philadelphia, loses his voice to lung cancer and dies without ever hearing her sing again. Four years later, she sees the musical Annie on Broadway and realizes she can still sing out, the way her father always told her to.
