Synopsis

Note: These summaries are designed to help fans find their favorite stories and may contain spoilers!
Mike has wanted to be a comedian his whole life, and studied comedians on TV and during live comedy tours. However, when he moved to Chicago to do standup, he ended up being too intimidated by the city, and left after a week to move back to his dad’s apartment. He worked a ton of jobs, eventually got married and had a child, and later, discovered comedian Mitch Hedberg, whose distinct style reinvigorated Mike’s creativity and sense of comedy. Mike booked Mitch to narrate a hockey commercial, which led to a three-year working partnership creating advertising campaigns, and eventually, Mitch asked Mike to be the opening act for his comedy show in Athens, GA. Mike sees Mitch as a mentor and a genius to this day.
