"Solitary Man"

This story was told by Greg Walloch on episode #102: Why Did I Do That? Part I

Synopsis

Note: These summaries are designed to help fans find their favorite stories and may contain spoilers!
After attending the birthday party of a guy he’s crushed out on, Greg takes a walk through Tompkins Square Park, intending to enjoy some solitude, then find dinner, then go home. When he goes to leave the park at about 1 am, though, Greg finds that he’s locked in. Every gate around the park is locked. He walks the whole perimeter, and calls out to at least 20 people, who won’t respond to him. Eventually a cop comes by, and, bizarrely, starts some ambiguous banter with Greg about sexual favors before finally opening the gate and freeing him.
